Do you know what an abortion doula is? Do you know how they support those seeking a safe abortion?

An abortion doula is a person who is trained in & knowledgeable about the process and procedures of terminating a pregnancy. They are also aware of & sensitive to the cultural stigmas one faces before & after termination. These doulas offer educational & emotional support. An abortion doula also offers aftercare & reproductive resources, as well.

During the month of August, Womb Care Womxn + The Yarn Mission are partnering up with other collaborators to educate about what abortion support means & how to support Black bodies during these unprecedented times. Stay tuned!
