LaKisha Redditt, Birth, Postpartum & Bereavement doula. 🎉


LaKisha from @virtuously_beartheddoula17 spoke about what a bereavement doula is & what roles they take on. She also spoke about supporting parents who have experienced loss & trauma. Lately, LaKisha shared about her personal birthing experience and trauma with her son & steps she has taken to heal. LaKisha also offered ways that doulas & communities can support those experiencing birthing loss and trauma.


LaKisha LaKisha Redditt is owner of Virtuously B'Earthed Doula Services where she serves as Doula (Birth, Postpartum, Bereavement), Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Belly Binding Artist, and more. She is a Certified Community Health Worker. She serves as Treasurer of the St. Louis Doulas of Color Collective and Board of Leaders Member of the St. Louis Community Health Worker Coalition. LaKisha recently completed Womb Wellness Facilitator and Women's Health Herbalist Training through Indigenous Remedies and seeks to bring tradition back to communities she services.
