Happy Fall Equinox!
To celebrate I pulled up watermelon plants & vines! (It was a lot!), added more hay & thought about where’d I plant sweet potatoes 🍠 slips once they sprout.
I also harvested the one (out of 4) watermelon that grew & flourished. (Check out the huge yellow patch on the bottom!) A small one grew but grew a hole at the top and started rotting.
This watermelon has grown well over 90 days & was ready. So I carried her home, put it in the fridge. Can’t wait to cut it later after it’s cool. 😍 *praying that it’s sweet!*’
