Death is really a part of life.
This training & learning about death work has really shaken up in the best way possibles. I learned about the Egyptian goddesses who welcomes the dying into their next life & the Myrrhophores who helped shift healing and transition of the dying with sacred oils.
I’m learned so much about what death doula do: support the dying & their family, create a peaceful space, provide holistic palliative care, empathize (not sympathize)
I’m learning that death really is a PROCESS & there are different phases.
And there are sacred rituals can do before & after. death.
There’s so much spiritual groundedness that a person needs to do this type of work. I’m really happy to be doing it!
