Hydration during pregnancy

Staying hydrated as a pregnant person is imperative.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Pregnant folks should be drinking 10-12 eight oz. of day. Water plays an important role in the healthy development of your babe such as helping to form placenta & used to form the amniotic sac later in pregnancy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Not drinking enough water during pregnancy can lead to low amniotic fluid, inadequate milk production & even premature labor. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here are some ways to stay hydrated while pregnant: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💧 Buy a CUTE gallon water bottle (that will encourage you to use it) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💧 Ask birth support team (partner, family, doula) to hold you accountable about your water intake. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

💧 Set a timer to drink water⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
