Resisting In Place

Repost from @mentalhealthfemme

Across the country Black people are resisting in the streets, in rooms where policy is made, with their social media, and their dollars.

And while that pivotal work occurs, there are Black folks doing anti-racism work in an intense way within their industries, institutions, and creative expressions. You may not see this work, or be close to this work, but radical imagination rumbles in every space.

⚪️

In this moment, many are wondering what can be done and what role they can play in contributing to this work to fight white supremacy. Resisting in Place provides the space to create an interdisciplinary road map for all to find a place for their resistance.

⚫️

When this work is successful, it will be a beautiful interdisciplinary roadmap for how people nationwide can fight racism and white supremacy where they are. @themorganmalone founder of this project, envisions a spectrum of action being highlighted in each industry, from easily accessible to visionary and intensely disruptive.
