Maybe it’s due to post smexual trauma, having an emotionally or physically tough pregnancy or having experienced past pregnancy losses or more, but not all pregnant parents are happy to be pregnant.
And that’s perfectly fine. Truly.
As a childbirth educator, I meet pregnant folks, prospective & former birth clients, where they are at. If you’re happy about your pregnancy, so am I. If you’re feeling indifferent, unhappy, challenged but moving forward with this pregnancy, I’m here to validate & support your feelings & choices.
As a childbirth educator, I’m here to hold space, listen, support you in being empowered & uncover pockets of pleasure + self care during this time. No judgement.
High key:
Honestly, I love when my prospective clients & former clients are real & transparent about how they are feeling. 😀
Post reads: ”Not all pregnant people are happy to be pregnant. We need to normalize the act of asking folks how they feel about their pregnancy before we congratulate them.”
I said what I said.
